In collaboration with Planetek Italia (www.planetek.it), we have successfully executed another use case on the openEO Platform. This functionality enables the execution of an openEO process graph that executes a vessel detection by applying thresholding techniques to 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗟𝟭_𝗚𝗥𝗗 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆. Our validation process involved comparing the outputs to Automatic Identification System (AIS) data, which yielded positive results.
Furthermore, users now have the option to utilize adaptive thresholding functionality for enhanced vessel detection. This versatile approach can be extended to other datasets, offering valuable benefits to our users.
