Your information is securely stored within data servers located within EU.
We adhere to the principle of data minimization. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as provided for by various storage periods provided for by law. Cookies
Like many other services, we use so-called “cookies”. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer. Collection and evaluation of usage data
Server-side logging
When you access a page of our website, our web servers record the address (URL) of the requested page, date, time, duration, size of the request, any error messages and, if applicable, the operating system and browser software of your computer as well as the website from which you visit us in a log file. We also store the IP address of your computer in our log files. The IP address is a number that your Internet provider assigns to your computer temporarily or permanently.
Matomo Analytics
EODC Webanalytics is an EODC IT corporate service applied to monitor the performance of EODC websites. It draws on Matomo, an open-source analytics platform, fully controlled and privacy-configured by the ESA, to protect personal data. Matomo aggregated data: refers to accumulated (aggregated) data derived from a large number of visitors. Individual visitor’s data cannot be retrieved from the aggregated form. It is used to understand more general visitor behaviours, transitions, preferences. This aggregated data is processed by Matomo in the following functionalities: Locations, Devices, Software, Times, Dashboard. Behaviours, Visitors’ summary.
Functions of the Twitter service have been integrated into this website. These features are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you use Twitter and the “Retweet” function, the websites you visit are connected to your Twitter account and made known to other users. In doing so, data will also be transferred to Twitter.

Forum (forum.openeo.cloud)
Based on https://www.discourse.org/ – Discourse is an open source Internet forum and mailing list management software application eoLab (Jupyter Lab) – Project Jupyter is a non-profit, open-source project, born out of the IPython Project in 2014 as it evolved to support interactive data science and scientific computing across all programming languages. Jupyter will always be 100% open-source software, free for all to use and released under the liberal terms of the modified BSD license.
